What is Zircuit?

Zircuit is an EVM-compatible zero-knowledge rollup built on Ethereum. It combines established infrastructure with zero-knowledge proofs to deliver faster transactions, reduced fees, and enhanced security. A key feature of Zircuit is its Sequencer Level Security (SLS). This enables active transactions monitoring before they are included in a block, detecting and preventing any malicious activity at the sequencer level.

Zircuit aims to become a major liquidity hub where users can easily allocate their capital and have peace-of-mind.

What is wstETH?

wstETH (wrapped stETH) is a non-rebasing version of Lido protocol's stETH. Unlike stETH, where your balance is adjusted daily to reflect the accrued staking rewards, wstETH keeps your balance constant. Instead, staking rewards are reflected in an increase in the value of wstETH over time.

How do I get wstETH?

You can obtain wstETH by wrapping your stETH or ETH by using the Lido protocol at stake.lido.fi/wrap.

Are there any bridging fees?

Yes, you'll need to cover network fees to pay for gas costs. On Ethereum, these fees are paid in ETH, and on Zircuit, they are paid in ETH as well. There are no additional fees specifically for using the Zircuit bridge.

How long does it take to bridge?

Bridging from Ethereum to Zircuit typically takes around 15 seconds.

How do I bridge back to Ethereum?

To bridge your wstETH back to Ethereum, follow the same steps in reverse on the Zircuit bridge interface. Please note that bridging back from Zircuit to Ethereum involves several steps and takes approximately 6 hours due to the rollup's processing time and a mandatory finalization period of 5 hours. You can find more information on the Zircuit website.

Can I cancel the action of bridging back to Ethereum?

No, it is not possible to cancel it after you have submitted the bridging request.
