# BitGo Bank & Trust, N.A. Extends Lido Staking to Eligible US Clients

BitGo Bank & Trust, N.A. (“BitGo Bank & Trust”) has enabled ETH staking through the Lido protocol for eligible US clients. Eligible BitGo Bank & Trust clients can stake ETH and hold the resulting stETH within their existing BitGo account.

BitGo Bank & Trust first offered the service to clients in Europe and Asia in July 2025, when it [integrated the Lido protocol into its custody platform](https://blog.lido.fi/bitgo-becomes-first-us-custodian-to-enable-native-eth-staking-via-lido/). BitGo Bank & Trust is now expanding its service to additional clients.

By extending Lido staking, we’re bringing another capability directly into the BitGo environment they already use to manage their assets. Clients can stake ETH and manage the resulting stETH through a familiar workflow, while maintaining the controls and infrastructure they expect from BitGo.”

### **What US Clients Can Now Do**

Through the integration, eligible clients can:

- Stake ETH through the BitGo platform and receive stETH.
- Hold stETH in BitGo custody and monitor their position through the BitGo interface.
- Redeem stETH for ETH through the same platform.

### **Staking Access & Collateral Use**

Eligible US institutions already holding ETH with BitGo can now access Lido staking and manage the resulting stETH through their existing account.
